Hi Stevie and Serina,
Looking forward to more pictures. Roula, my Greek stepmother, recommends Crete and Santareeny in October. The other islands are too cold.
Namaste

Namaste is an Indian greeting.

Namaste literally means "I humbly bow to you," from the Sanskrit: Namas: "to bow, obeisance, reverential salutation", and Te: "to you".

A more exalted way to understand this word is to accept the following when greeting another one while bowing with both hands clasped together:

'The God in me greets the God in you
The Spirit in me meets the same Spirit in you'
In other words, it recognizes the equality of all, and pays honor to the sacredness of all.

"Namaste" is sometimes used in the context of practicing Yoga as a greeting or goodbye, generally taken as an expression of good will.

Namaste is often mis-interpreted as a greeting associated with Yoga only. It is much more widely used than that in India, especially in greeting Elders. Namaste is pre-dominantly a "Hindi" word and hence has widespread use in North India where the language is Hindi or its different forms of dialects.
